I'm Elkers. I'm a UK pony, and I started this blog because I felt there needed to be a more definitive hub for posting hoofmade creations.
This page should contain all of the information that you'll need to get started here on Twenty Stalks.
Firstly- The pages.
-The 'Art' page will contain all of the information on artwork.
Whether this be paintings, digital art or icons/buttons/wallpapers. You could argue that all of the items on this site are 'art', but we're being generic here. This page contains contact details for any commissioners that are looking to increase their demand.
You could commission ponies to draw a nice Fluttershy to hang on your wall, OC's, or covers for your fanfiction, anything like this. However, some artists may have certain conditions, for example- Will not draw OC's. Further details will be provided on the artist's page/DeviantArt/email.
-The 'Plushie' page contains information on.. plushies!
A lot of ponies create plushies/stuffed toys, and they are highly desirable by many. Whether they're for show, or snuggles, it's up to you! This page will contain details of artists that make these plushies, and you can commission them to make you almost any pony! As with the 'Artwork' page, some ponies have specific rules as to how they make plushies. It's a difficult art for some, and there are some things that just can't be made in plush. Details will be provided on the artist's page/DeviantArt/email.
-The 'Custom' page contains information on custom pony figurines.
These can be repainted models or completely sculpted creations. There are a lot of ponies out there that create amazing re-works of the G4 (and all the other generations!) merchandise ponies. They even go down to re-hairing the ponies strand by strand. If you already own all of the G4 pony merchandise, and want to complete your collection by obtaining a custom Lyra, or a Vinyl Scratch then this is the page to be!
Also, this is the page to go to if you're after custom sculpted models. This can be a real rewarding option for your commissioned pony. Not only do you get to choose the pose, you get to choose colours, hairstyle, expression, and extra accessories. Due to the immense effort and time that has to be put into these, they may be less plentiful than some of the other items. However, we shall see what is what when this blog really gets started. All of the artist information and rules can be found on their page/DA/email.
-The 'Textile' page contains information on all things fabric.
Plushies aren't included in this section, although they are fabric. This section is for clothes, footwear, and items such as scarves, socks, even phone cases and covers. Some ponies can embroider items, or make printed t-shirts etc. It's a really good way to advertise your Brony/Pegasis status to the world! They may be more expensive depending on size, and colour, but all of that information should be found on the artist's page
In the pages at the top, I'll be explaining how to navigate and figure out this site.
